The financially independent person’s permit is available to foreigners with a total personal net worth of min. R12 Million. This type of permit requires the applicant to make a once-off payment in the amount of R120.000 to the Director-General on approval of the permit.

  • The applicant must have a total personal net worth of R12 Million.
Good To Know
  • This type of permit can only be issued as a permanent resident permit, but does not have a corresponding temporary visa.
  • Spouses and children can be included in the application as dependants.
